HW-R530 soundbar

Just installed HW-R530 soundbar to my Samsung TV. Soundbar working fine but subwoofer does not increase bass from remote control. Displays '0' on soundbar. Please help, need the bass.

Hey @Joojooz.

To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons. The Sound Settings button is the little cogwheel on the right of your remote. 

If this doesn't work, then we'd advise attempting to pair the Sub again. I pulled this from your manual on manually pairing the two:

I now have bass after repairing, but even though it's on +6 there is no vibration from woofer and it seems very poor.

Our old woofer was less power but shook the room lol . Would the soundbar work independently and use our old woofer?
