I read on some reviews that the HW-Q990B SOUND BAR WILL passthrough DOLBY VISION to the connected TV screen. However, according to SAMSUNG, it DOES NOT.
I have this sound bar and have an Amazon Fire Cube 3rd gen directly attached to the sound bar.
when playing Dolby vision content eg: some Disney plus titles, my Sony tv detects it as Dolby Vision. I know this as picture modes are limited and I can chose between Dolby vision bright or Dolby vision normal all other modes are disabled. When I play normal titles all the other picture modes come back and the tv no longer says Dolby vision.
