HW-Q90R Soundbars Low subwoofer with 1012.6 Firmware

Hi Guys,
the bass on the subwoofer has significantly dialed down when playing any content, from stereo to 5.1 to atmos, you don't feel the typical home theatre effect. I also did soundbar sound test and subwoofer is really low, are you experiencing the same issue? (sub level is on +6) I specify that I don't like to have subwoofer too loud, but in my case is extremely too low.

More and more people have encountered this problem, and Samsung still hasn't taken any measures to fix the bug. More than half a year has passed since the last firmware update. Obviously, this problem is caused by the firmware, which can be completely fixed by firmware update. I don't know why, Samsung just ignores consumers.

Hey guys. Don’t think we’ll get a fix.. turn off the soundbar. Hold down vol -. It’ll say shop after a while. The sound from the sub in DEMO MODE is much better then the new update.  You can still use earc and control the channels. It sounds more immersive as well.  Personal opinion.

Did they end up doing a firmware fix that text the sub problem I haven't used the sound bar in months as I bought a Vizio and like it much better having said that I am still thinking of putting the Samsung Q90 in the bedroom but still looking for a rear right speaker is there a firmware that has been released since my last issues with Samsung back around four months ago maybe even longer should I bother installing the new firmware if there is one?

I have the same problem. Too low bass sound from sub.

this is not the system for what i have bought, Samsung please solve this for all of your customers very soon!

Same here. Subwoofer and surround speakers were intermittently getting disconnected so I had to get the firmware update. Although the update was successful, the bass has dialed down after. The thump feeling is no longer present. Wish Samsung could get this fixed!

Temper your expectations. Because Samsung is not interested and will not fix this issue. This product is one of many thousands and they've made their money on it. So I suggest you move in if you want a quality sound system.
