My sound bar is connected to a Samsung Full HD TV via a AUX cable which is the only option I have due to being an old TV. I updated to the latest firmware immediately after purchase. Every so often the soundbar switches off by itself (all the lights on the front panel go out) and until I press the On/Off button on the remote it stays that way. It can happen any time of day and on any program. I have spoken to the customer support who asked me to reset the soundbar by pressing the volume up/down buttons simultaneously on the soundbar. Its still doing it and very annoying !. Can anybody give me any suggestions on how I can stop this happening ?

Try doing the firmare update once again. The auto turn off feature is disabled via that. And with aux it should anyways not go off on its own its only when connected via Bluetooth does it auto turn off.
