HW-K650 and Two R1 Wirelss Speakers in 5.1 With KS7000 TV

When using the K650 sound bar and two R1 Wireless speakers in surround sound mode over wifi with the latest firmware, The quailty of the sound K650 drops, sounds very muddy. As soon as you use the sound bar on it own, the sound bar improves. this is happening for a quite a few users.

can you help.

K650 is on 3111.2

R1's are on 3112.5

I might put it on a USB stick and update that way.
It's 1.3 gb so maybe it's changed a fair bit.

Just checked Samsung website for my model. It shows 1168.2 as the latest and has a release date of 30th March 2017. I'm pretty sure mine hasn't updated in quite a while. Wondering if I should manually download it onto USB

My model also has a new firmware, 1169.2 released 04.27, but when attempting online update it states i have the latest firmware installed.

I will try the USB method and report back here.

Hmm still some variation on updates depending on tv model.
I have been on 1168.2 for a while. And web site says I should be on 1169.

If you go into settings, support, contact samsung it gives you the exact firmware version your on
