I just picked up a Samsung 75 class Q800T series QLED-8k-UHD smart-tizen-tv yesterday, 3/15/2021 I have a Samsung Q90R sound bar system I got in 2019. The TV keeps popping up a notification stating Earc not connected please connected to HDMI port 3. The funny thing is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s the inconsistency that’s frustrating. I have the HDMI connected properly. I even upgraded my HDMI cables thinking it was that but, no change.
Any help would be appreciated as, I’ve spent a lot of money to have a quality setup and it’s not working.

Correction, it says your audio device is connected to a port that does not support (ARC).
