Connecting TV to old DVD Player - Scart to HDMI

I have recently bought a Samsung TV and I am trying to connect my old DVD / Video player to the TV.

My DVD player (Bush) has a Scart connection and the TV HDMI.

I have juts purchased a Scart to HDMI convertor box. 

I have plugged my DVD via a scart lead to the box and the TV using an HDMI cable to the box also.

Can anyone explain what else I need to do to be able to play DVDs via my existing player  on my new TV.

you can buy dvd players cheap,£17 asda,or a bluray dvd for a bit more, that way you will get a proper 1080 and better picture than your bush will give you, old dvd players only output a picture of 540.
