Our Blu ray player BD-J5900 stopped working yesterday and seems to be on a boot loop. I have tried leaving it unplugged overnight, there's no disc in the machine and I have pressed the power and eject button. It just powering on and then turning itself off again repeatedly.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

My HT-J5500 got stuck in boot loop yesterday when I was going to watch a movie. It has always been connected to the internet so I don't quite understand why it got this ONE YEAR OLD firmware fault NOW? To me it seems like Samsung is intentionally bricking these players because I'd imagine they would have fixed and prevented bad firmwares from spreading by now.
I'm the Caribbean, is there any facility for me to have my device repaired also?
