Hi,
I am having an issue with my 5.1 setup that I just can't find a fix to.
My PC (RTX 2080) is connected to my TV (Samsung Q60) via a HDMI cable.
My TV is connected to my AV Receiver (Pioneer VSX-528) via HDMI cable (ARC) and via optical cable.
When I play Netflix from my TV I receive 5.1 sound via the receiver.
The problem is with the PC - I can only see 2 channels as an output in my TV. There is no option in Windows to change that to 5.1.
I know that my TV can pass through signal to the receiver in 5.1 (Netfilx case).
I know that my PC can pass 5.1 via current HDMI cable - If I connect my PC to the receiver directly, 5.1 is there.
I just cant make it go through PC -> TV -> Receiver.
Before you ask - I do not wish to use a PC -> Receiver -> TV connection since it limits my signal to 4k 30fps.
