The phone (A31) won't charge anymore. In addition touch screen functioning is erratic, as well as the outside (phisical) buttons.
Samsung lab told me that probably storing the phone in the trouser pockets could have damaged the phone.
They make me notice that lower right corner of the glass is slightly deformed (maybe 0.1 mm toward outside).
I make them notice that back part of the phone was perfectly straight, using a glass edge to confront (with evidence of no deformation at all).
Anyway they sent me a pre-invoice of 70€ to repair the device, and I don't agree with their point of view.
They say both connector (!) and flat cable were broken, and I'd like to know how could happen (if possible) that:
- sitting (eventually) on your phone (my son weights 45 kg) you could damage the interior without affecting the exterior
- how could you broke a flat cable (were it so tighten to not whistand a bent, if happened, of 0,1 mm?) while the glass screen whistand the pressure and bent withoud any broke
- how could this affect also the charging connector
