I just wanted to point out, this feature has been rolling out to Gemini Advanced users, so if you're interested in seeing/using Gemini in a more interactive and informative way, this should be available via an update to the Google app. It's something I've been looking forward to for a while, as I hope you will be too! 😄
The new Gemini Live screen share
I tapped "try live", but I didn't say anything. I see the microphone is on, but I still didn't say anything. I'm watching an English series on TV and I hear Gemini saying something, but so quietly that I couldn't hear what it was. Then suddenly Gemini starts speaking in my language and I realize he's responding to an ad on TV. Then I open the Gemini app and stop the live and I have something to see. In those few minutes, Gemini was blabbering about blood pressure, weather, doctors, races, everything he heard on TV, and at the end (My Gemini has a beautiful female voice 😋) I asked her if she spoke my language and she said "Of course I speak your language. What do you want to know?" 🤭
