Samsung S22 Ultra and Huawei GT3

Hi, I am wanting to get the new Samsung Ultra S22, an upgrade from my current Huawei P30 Pro, but as Huawei no longer supports Google Play, I am forced to look elsewhere.
Will the Samsung S22 phone work with my current Health Watch the Huawei GT3?

Hi @IcemanGP, S22 Ultra is an amazing choice. To help you identify if the phone will work with your current watch, I've checked Huawei's website and it does state that the watch is compatible with Android devices.

Yes the phone is compatible with the Watch GT3.
But you need to download the Huawei Health App APK.
I have put a link for the APK I used when Huawei loaned me a GT3.
Don't bother with the Google Playstore version of the Huawei Health App. You don't get all the functionality of the Watch with it.
Not sure why the app developers have not updated it.

You will need to allow for download from unknown sources.

Other option is to search Huawei App Gallery and sign into your account and download it from there. But that's a but more long winded a process

I wouldn't bother with the s22 ultra I have this phone and hate it, I'd rather have my s21 ultra back
