Is a T-Mobile branded phone (i.e., a phone purchased directly from T-Mobile, running T-Mobile's version of the phone firmware) required for the DIGITS number syncing feature to work? I have a Galaxy S21 unlocked purchased from Samsung, and I want the number syncing feature to work so that calls and texts to my main phone number get forwarded to my watch when the watch is on LTE.
Are folks still having the issue where they get duplicate notifications for text messages? I read that, at some point in the past, people would get two notifications for each text message... apparently one notification for the message being delivered to the phone, and a second notification for the message being delivered to the watch.
