S8 Charger

I have found that the S8 Charger Type C that came with the phone will not fast charge however the apdater that came with it and my old s5 lead will anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like an issue then with the bundled cord @Zach

Appreciate it does not Fast Charge the phone but Does it normal charge your phone ?

If this was my situation I'd ask the supplier of the phone to assist by swapping the cable out.

Hi I have purchased 2 different USB  C leads and none are fast charging it, with the usb C leads it says it woll take around 5 hours to charge when battery is on around 7%. Is this normal,

In my experience when fast charging is activating it'll say so on the home screen.

I personally do not let my phone drop below 15% to stop anything detrimental happening to the battery. From 7% on normal it'll definitely take quite a few hours. 

I charged my phone from 15% last night on normal charge and even though I didn't take note exactly how long it took it was around 2 hours - I think.
