S5 tab cover

Hi all, before the ''lockdown'' I bought a cover for my S5 tablet for £35, I know, ridiculously expensive. recently a piece has come off. I contacted online support, they said go to a shop, I waited until they reopened, went yesterday and i couldn't get past a stroppy assistant on the door(won't ever buy anything from that branch again).

I have never dropped it. Can anyone offer any help as to whether I'm wasting my time trying to get a replacement from Samsung? I'm not sure I can bring myself to pay another £35.

it's going to he super hard to prove that you ain't dropped the case as it looks like accidental damage! Best thing is take the hit and move on with your losses lesson learnt don't pay top dollar! when you could have purchased 5 or so cases from ebay! £35 isn't that expensive compared to whats out there!

Thanks, I did think it was going to be difficult. You're right though, ebay is my next stop, I've better things to do than spend hours arguing about it.
