How to register Galaxy Ear Buds 2

Hi Everyone,

I received my galaxy ear buds 2 (through samsung official website), however I can't register them as a product I own because it does not recognize the numbers : I get the message "verify your numbers or try again".

as a serial number i use the 11 letters/numbers combination present after "S/N" at the back of the craddle, and product serial number is something like SM-R177. 

Am I missing something ?
