Headphone converter not recognised with phone

Hi,

Just bought a headphone converter to use with my Galaxy S20 and its not working, however what I don't understand is that any other brand of charger works to charge my phone but this adapter don't work 

Can anyone help.

Thanks but I want to use wired headphones rather than Bluetooth ones

You can get the adapter on Amazon or Samsung website it only cost about £8, get a genuine Samsung one
