@bluecat1401: Further to the above, you may wish to try connecting the fan to another compatible phone to see if the issue persists. Also, try connecting another USB accessory to your phone, or head to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics > USB connection, and follow the on-screen instructions. Do to encounter an 'Action required' message in the summary at the end of the test?
