So my kids have galaxy tab A9+ tablets. The problem is have is that the supplied cables aren't long enough to use as my kids are special needs and don't understand they have to sit in a specific place. We keep buying longer non samsung branded cables but they simply don't charge fast enough or they get broken super easily.
Does anyone know if Samsung either makes longer cables or of any longer cables they'll will charge these tablets at a decent pace that are hard wearing.
We spend an absolute fortune on charging cables every couple months.
Thank you. I will look at ordering a couple of these once I've been paid I may look at getting something to reinforce the cable cover just as a precaution because as I said my special needs kids aren't gentle with wires they are learning but it's a slow process due to their disabilities. Most people would say oh they should learn to manage without while they are on charge but one of the especially is non verbal and relies on his tablet to keep him calm to help communicate and to preserve his autonomy for picking what he wants to watch etc. He is a wizz at navigating a phone or tablet but not so much with a tv remote lol.
Honestly I've lost count how many my kids go through at any given point the collection of wire that don't work is huge in my house. Might look into if there's anywhere that can manage to recycle them or something lol.
Honestly more often than not it's either the wires right where it connects to pin heads that breaks or the pin heads themselves that get bent and snapped. They survive longer if they are right angled wires but the only cases I've managed to get that they can't get off the tablets don't allow for right angled wires unfortunately.
I'm sure samsung would make a fortune if they could design and make wires that had some form of stabilisation. So like if the plastic casing between pin and wire had support wings or was just wider.
