Can an old wireless charger damage a new phone?

Can an old wireless charger damage a new phone? I am planning on using my old Samsung wireless charger from 2019 to charge the new Galaxy S23 Ultra (when it releases). Will the new battery be affected? This current old wireless charger works fine with my current Galaxy S10+.

No you should be fine.
The phone will control how quickly it charges and when to stop charging
I use old wireless chargers with my phones and not had any issues at all
