Bluetooth Headphones Not Connecting

Simply my AEAK Bluetooth Headphones are not connecting to my Samsung A12, which I do not understand since they connect to my Samsung Galaxy Tab A perfectly fine. I've tried all the usual "switch off and on again, disconnect other devices" suggestions and still no joy. Amy ideas?
