Keeps turning off when you have 80% fully change then to restart you have to put it on change again.

No I do not have that issue on my Samsung Gear s3 Frontier watch @Bigdave
It charges to 100% and does not turn off.
If backing it up and resetting the watch does not help then I'd suggest to use a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre for assistance.

Mine does the same. I am lucky to get 7 hours out of the phone. Called Samsung, they said they would setup a case for me, then nothing. Started after updating UI

Hi I had to take my watch to a samsung repairer they said it wanted £170 to repair it not happy

Wouldn't Samsung only need payment if the device was out of warranty or the repair is needed and the item has accidental damage or water damage ?

Yes it was 2days out of warranty
