On my phone (Galaxy S10+) I can use Samsung Health to track a Rock Climbing workout and can set it as a favorite if I want to. But, I just got a Galaxy Watch Active2, and am very upset that Rock Climbing is not an option for a workout there. Even after saving it as a favorite on my phone, I still can't get it to come up on the watch. Is there any trick to get it to show up there, or does Samsung just have to update the app to add this workout option?

Dude, me too, figured this out last night while at the rock climbing gym... although, while climbing, I realized some of the jumps may injure the watch.

Yeah I hear you. I'll just have to be careful how I use that arm. But I'd still love to be able to use the watch to track it!

I got a watch for Christmas and was wondering the same thing, I bought a protector for the watch and I have always climbed with a watch so looking forwards to record the activity. Wondering if there is a partner up that will record it.

The only way I found is if you track it as other workout. The. You have one opportunity to change that workout in the health app to rock climbing. I noticed that it doesn't transfer to Strava though
