Gear S3, add mmHg to Barometer

The UK weather organisations use mm Hg values when reporting barometric pressure.
Would Samsung be willing to add these units to the barometer on my S3?

The values range from around 960 to 1050 mm so a 4 character field would be required, and my S3 Frontier seems to have plenty of space.
Of course, this would probably have knock-on effects on other apps such as S-health.

Hey @Swifty,

Here's how to adjust the units of the Barometer:

  • Tap Barometer
  • Rotate the bezel clockwise to open the 'Settings' screen
  • Select 'Change'
  • Rotate the bezel and select 'Pressure unit'
  • Select 'hPa' or 'in Hg'.

Let us know if you have any problems with this.

Hi! got a  Gear S3 for Christmas. How do I get the barometer to show 100ths of inch? Rounding off to whole inches is essentially useless IMO and over 60% of the  outer circumference barometer scale shows pressures that have never been recorded anywhere on earth. If there's anyway to modify that, I'd love to know.

Thanks!

OK, added software update which gave me 100ths.  Now just left with part 2 of question, how does one change the outer  barometer scale to earthly relevant? Thanks
