Gear S3 Classic - Phone calls direct from watch.

Hello

i have bought a Gear S3 Classic and paired it to my Xperia XZ.

All works brilliantly except:

Never thought I'd be interested in the ***** Tracy feature but as it's there I wanted to try it. 

Unfortunately I can't get it to dial out.

if I ring my mobile I can only accept the call on watch but must use the phone to speak etc.

So I'm trying to figure out if it is a phone compatibility issue or not.

Is anyone in U.K. and can make direct phone calls from S3 paired with any phone?

I have a Huawei Mate 9 connected to my Gear S3 and it works flawlessly both sending and receiving calls. So I am guessing there is some incompatibility with your Sony phone. I know that some phones can be fussy with bluetooth connections.

Issue fixed itself without intervention somehow.
I can now have phone calls directly from watch if I so choose.
However I'm not sure how to carry on conversation on phone once began on watch.

Glad you got it working! 

To transfer a call back to the phone is easy. During the call on the watch,  there will be an on screen icon shaped like a smartphone which you tap to transfer.
