I have had one of these for 8 months and have had to have it repaired twice: once because the GPS stopped working and now the battery drains in about 2 hours.  A second-rate product and one which I regret buying, despite the good reviews which I found on line.  Don't buy it!

My battery drains rapidly too,specially if it turns on workout. It doesn't turn off itself if on for more than 20 min and you cant turn it off yourself. So battery just goes down till it turns off. Had it at repair twice complained about software and no result. It seems it's an outdated item and they will not do anything about it. I would suggest to get your money back , if you can, and get the new fit band in spring.

I have just used it for the first time since the so-called repair.  Battery down to 57% after 90 minutes and GPS failed to work properly.  I shall take your advice, get refund and a better model.
