GWA2 Smart Typing bug

Hi everyone,
I prefer using T9 keyboard when answering to messages.
I've noticed that altough I've disabled the smart typing option it turns itself on every time i switch off/switch on the watch.
This is extremely annoying. Is there a way to fix this bug?

I have a galaxy watch active 2 with latest build (R830XXU1BTA1).

I've tried restoring the watch to no avail. Is there a solution to this bug? Should I download a keyboard app?
