For the second time since I purchased the tablet in July, this week every time I opened an app the screen returned to the home screen.
Samsung customer service after checks decided that it was third party apps to blame and to do a factory reset but not to restore my backup as this would return the problem.
Following day I did a few more soft restarts and it worked for a short time before reverting to the problem. Eventually did the factory reset but decided to restore from the backup, fingers crossed but despite the fault being blamed on third party app which Is now back on the tablet it is working.
Anyone else had similar problems and found a way to get the tablet working again with factory reset.
If anyone from Customer service reading this, i am still waiting for the call i was promised Monday midday.
