@Minty: If you swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom with 2 fingers, look for 'Auto Rotate' and tap this option, it will lock to your current position, with a grey padlock symbol. So, if you're in portrait when you lock it, it will lock to portrait, and the same for landscape. Hope this helps.
