Problems setting up mail on a new Galaxy TAB A tablet

I have had a Galaxy teblet for some years but the battery is in a bad state and the tablet is very slow so I got the new TAB A which is noticeably muc faster.

 

I also have a Galaxy S5 mobile phone.

 

I tried transferring from the phone using Smart Switch without any success but not bothered about that.

 

Today I have been trying to set up my EMail on the new tablet.  I got BT Internet set up OK but just cannot get my main mail provider to work.  I use a small company with my own domain.  I have been through every permutation of setting of POP3 and IMAP but each time it says that not finding the server or not able to connect to the server.

 

I have compare settings with those on the old tablet and the phone but just not working.

 

Can anyone think of anything obvious that i could be getting wrong?

Sorted out.

 

The EMail kept defaulting the login name to FRED from FRED@MYDOMAIN.COM even though I had edited it.
