What is the best way to connect my tablet to a TV?

I was successful using Smart View, however I'm looking to also connect to a non Samsung TV.

I was not successful using this - >  QGeeM USB C to HDMI Adapter 4K Cable, USB Type-C to HDMI Adapter [Thunderbolt 3 Compatible] MacBook Pro 2018/2017, Samsung Galaxy S9/S8, Surface Book 2, Dell XPS 13/15, Pixelbook More

I tried Chromecast and didn't have any luck either.

I am looking for a solution that doesn't need wifi.

Any ideas?

@ToddG: Officially, Smart View is the way to go, so I'm pleased to hear that you were able to connect to your TV successfully via this channel.

Unofficially, you could try a USB-C to HDMI MHL 3.0 adapter, however as Samsung don't manufacture them I cannot guarantee that you'll have any success.
