Hey @Anolyte! Every device purchased within the EU will be covered under warranty and it will be possible to have it repaired within the EU independently from where you are specifically. In regards to using your tablet with any SIM Card, as long as the tablet was sold unlocked, you can remove the Regional Lock for using any other SIM Card in the world by doing a 5 minutes call to a German number in Germany.
