picture quality problems on series 5 ue49k5500

Could you give us a few more details on this so we can run through some troubleshooting? Is this happening on all sources? Does it only happen at certain times?

I can only describe the picture being dim on all channels as though underpowered for example when my samsung netbook  is swiched from battery to mains power  the difference is a  far superior picture. Please be informed i only purchased the tv on May 5th. When i view samsung TVs in the showroom the picture quality is super  therefore i feel dissapointed and let down.
