So, of the nigh on 400 TVs supported in BBC iplayer for the Blue Planet II  HLG episodes none are from Samsung. Oh joy.

...

Moderator edit: Original thread title was "Blue Planet 2 HLG - No Samsung". With the OP's permission, the title was changed on 12/03/2018 to accurately reflect the dominant theme of the thread as it has progressed. If the reader would like to know more about the HLG format, please check out the BBC's page and FAQ's on it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/projects/high-dynamic-range Thank you, AntS.

Just a reminder that the FA cup final will be the latest UHD trial on the BBC iPlayer today. https://www.svgeurope.org/blog/headlines/fa-cup-final-2019-bbc-sport-to-use-single-production-workfl...

It'll be interesting to see if there'll be any delay between the various broadcast qualities, something people have complained about previously.

Anybody watch this on a KS set from a Virgin Media V6?  If so was the picture OK?  Didn't see today's final but someone on another forum with the 1239 firmware complained the colours were really over saturated.

My KS7000 updated to 1233 recently.. I ran the websocket query on my sky q box and it now says HLG sink enabled. Does this mean the 1239 fix was rolled out under 1233? I don't have a Roku or anything to test (still waiting for sky q to enable hdr

The champions league final was broadcast live in HDR from the BT app. I watched it on my Xbox One X and it said it was HDR and looked like it. Wondering what type HDR BT are using, as I don't believe it was HLG.

Anyone know any details or manage to watch it?
