YouTube stuck on splash screen UE55MU7000 fw 1242

youtube app just opens logo and then remains there on my TV.

Would appreciate any advice.

Tv UE55MU7000 and firmware 1242 (up to date). Tv is connected to internet. Have switched off and on again and done button remote reset.

@Johnmcj: If you go to Apps > Settings, is auto update toggled on in the top right corner? You may wish to try a Smart Hub Reset to push through any updates, although please be aware that this will remove any personal settings and account information. To proceed, go to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Smart Hub Reset. Does YouTube work after you've completed this step?

Yeah, thanks, have done the former, would really not have to do the later. Want to keep my settings but if needs must.

Okay, I reset the Smart hub n TV

 Had to reset everything.

Youtube then worked.

Just went to watch Youtube again and BOOM!

Stuck on YOUTUBE flash screen all over again. Must be software issue?
