registered Manuel that you can delete these files, but you can't actually delete files from USB

@kjkjk32: It isn't possible to delete files that are stored on an external USB drive on the TV itself. To delete recorded content, please go to Source > Connected Device > Filter By > Recorded. Hope this helps.

OLED TVs can easily delete any USB file

I did check the user manual, and there were only instructions on how to view external media stored on USB devices, I'm afraid. Where did you read that it was possible to delete files from a USB device via the TV?

In Manuel's TV I received it and not Manuel's updates!

Every TV lets you delete files from USB!
All LG, Sony, Panasonic TVs

Just so we're on the same page, are you referring to recordings captured on the TV and saved to a USB device, or external media downloaded from another location and viewed on the TV via USB device?

So, my understanding based on this information is that you go to Home > Source > Connected Device (select as appropriate). If you select 'Options' at the bottom of the screen, this "Deletes or plays the selected media content in the media content list. When you select Refresh, the content list is reloaded." However, it also states below this information, "You can delete only the recorded content."

This is explained in Manuel and in practice you cannot delete files!

I also know how to read Manuel, but again it doesn't work in reality!

This is a question for people who have the screen and know how to delete files!

The option does not exist!
Probably from too much update have deleted this option!
