Volume not working on J6240

Hi,

 

The volume is not changing on my 2 month old 40" J6240 from TV remote, sky remote or smart view app.

 

Has anyone come across this problem before? I have seen other posts to change batteries in the remote but that wouldn't apply to the smart view app. All other remote functions are fine.

From TV itself. I temporarily sorted it out by unplugging the TV from the mains, waiting 10 seconds and plugging it back in again. Weird but likely not the last time I'll have to do that. Expected better with a new TV.

Have you got the sound coming through the TV or external speakers?
