Universal remote not working with all devices

RU7400 TV.

Universal remote is paired with TV and Bixby works. I can't get it to work with DVD player, Xbox, Virgin V6 box.

Doesn't perform the tests at all on all 3 devices. What am I doing wrong??☹️ Please help xx

Is it possible to wake up Bixby directly not using remote? I've read on some pages this is possible but I can't get it to work, would this be a different model TV? Bixby works great on remote btw. Thanks for your help x
