3 ways i know of:
1. When playing the recorded content hold the back button down and it will jump out back to the menu and stop playing.
2. Another option is press the 123 button twice and then the centre button (...more) and it brings up a series of buttons which include stop, record etc...choose the stop button.
3. last option is hold the Mic button and say stop...
