I have the TV model number UE50JU6800 and a shadow has just started to appear on the top of the screen. I phoned Samsung and they have said it is out of warranty but is this a common fault or a fault with this model in particular? I believe a TV should be fit for purpose for longer than a couple of years!
That's not what we like to hear. Have you tried a picture test on the TV? Go to Menu > Support > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. Is the shadow still evident on the brightly coloured beach scene?
