Supposedly this screensaver is supposed to prevent image burn from still images being displayed.
Firstly, it seems a bit odd that 2 hours is the minimum setting before it activates. I would have thought a much shorter period would have been better.
Secondly, using the tunein radio app the screensaver does not activate at the 2 hour mark.
I have only ever seen it activate once while I was watching a TV broadcast (not a still image in the slightest).
When the service tech repaired the TV the first time (new main board) he put it down to the fact the app was not allowing the screensaver to kick in.
However, I was given a loan unit while mine was being repaired. I installed the exact same app & the screensaver worked perfectly.
Anyone got any ideas for me?
