With the advent of the elderly in the UK having to pay BBC licence Fee from Mid 2020, is it possible that SAMSUNG could modify software on existing TV's in people homes to give following option:
On set-up menu after "Select Country", if UK is selected have further question, "Do you have BBC Licence" if "Yes" carry on as normal, if "No" TV will only select channels that do not require a BBC Licence, that is on-line as well as Terrestial TV.
If done it would vastly simplify things for the elderly, especially if all Manufacturers did this.
It would also enhance the brand of Sanmsung.
