I have 50" samsung TV.

When I plug in the headphone jack, the speakers cut out.

Is there anything I can do to get the headphones and speakers working at the same time.

With thanks.

Hey @rasc3253

You're not able to use both the speakers and the headphones are the same time.

The audio will only be able to go out of one source at a time.

I wanted vto know if an engineer could enable both the speakers and headphones to work at the same time.

A Samsung engineer wouldn't be able do this, you'd only be able to use one sound output at a time.

I am upgrading to a 55" K4 TV but with the audio limitations on Samsung sets, I will have to look elsewhere.

Thank you for your assistance.

As a last ditch attempt.

If I activate my headphones via the 'Optical Audio Out' socket. Will the TV speakers be cut off when I try to use my headphones.

Regards.
