Surround sound icon stuck on tv

Hi, I have recently purchased a new SUHD curved tv and Samsung sound bar, with subwoofer.

for some reason the surround sound icon will not go away. It's half way up the screen on the left hand side.

the surround sounds works fine, universal Samsung remote operates it perfect aswell. Even when I unplug the sound bar the icon is still there. 

I have also tried resetting the tv and it won't go away. 

Its driving me mad so any help is much appreciated

Unplug tv, wait 30 seconds, plug in, voila, you're welcome.

On the left hand side of to,,half way up is a white circle with a skinny rectangle and a smaller rectangle on top. 

It won't go away

setting updates say upto date

can not self diagnose as it say option not available as it is greyed out 

turned to off and on 

no result 

any help would be great

I had to change the sound output to TV and then back to the HDMI loop (don't remember name of HDMI that can go to sound bar) I had set up with the soundbar.

Use your remote that came with the tv. Hit the home

button and toggle to the settings icon. Select the tv audio. Then go back to the same place and select the sound bar audio. That will reset the annoying audio icon that doesn’t disappear.
