Sound on Samsung UE65KS8005

I just bought a UE65KS8005 which I have connected to a Sonos PLAYBAR via optical cable.

 

Sound is working, however it seems that it is always being outputted to optical, even when the TV is set to only use internal speakers. Is this a bug in the software?

 

If the TV is set to output to optical, the Sonos is playing and the TV is muted.

But if the TV is set to internal speakers, both the Sonos and the TV is playing sound. Why?

Hi @WhatTheFork.

 

Have you tried disconnecting the cable from both the TV and soundbar and then setting it back up again to see if this makes any difference?
