Screen replacement projects

Hi there I'm looking for  any DIY projects/ideas on what else I could do with my Samsung smart TV #UA43M5500AS since screen is broken and I really dont want to pay $799NZD just for screen replacement!? Any input will be appreciated or a cheap as chips screen Thanks lol
