Scanning hdmi input

Hi all , I have 3 things connected to the 3 HDMI ports on the TV , today I swapped 2 of them around so that the fire box is now hdmi 2 , dvd now hdmi 3 ( they were the other way around ) when I tried to get the icon for the Amazon box it wouldn't  appear , can't even rescan the hdmi ports to find the new devices, in the end I had to factory reset the TV and rescan the hdmi ports , if I change the devices around in the future is there a way of rescanning the hdmi ports , thanks

you must configure the universal remote control

the option is on source, you can change the configuration and you selected the conserned HDMI.
