Samsung BLOCKING DTA/OTA Channels

So, I purchased a new 55" Samsung TV. I use DTV/OTA outdoor antenna. The new Samsung blocks out all the major DTV signals: ABC, CBS, NBC and CBC signals etc. I went from 30+ DTV signals to 17 DTS/OTA signals. Clearly a BLOCKING action! What is Samsungs position on this situation and what is the CRT's position ?

  • What's the model number of your TV?
  • Full software version of the TV? (for newer models this should be in Settings > Support > About This TV)
  • Is the aerial going through a direct connection to the TV or via an external device/set-top box?
  • Which type of input/port are you using?
  • Any troubleshooting steps you've taken so, e.g. manual retuning the TV?

Not sure what you mean by 'the CRT' in this instance. Are you based in the UK/Ireland?
