Repair after Firmware Update on MU series TV

After 7 days a Samsung finally allowed an approved technician to contact me, which to my surprise he promptly called and arranged to visit this evening. Unfortunately his magic USB stick and engineers remote did bugger all and my Television has been taken away for repair. 

Has anyone else had an engineer out yet ? Any success with repair ?

 

Part of me hopes this is terminal so I can return the TV to retailer.

Your lucky you got one I have to wait till next Tuesday which will be eleven days after reporting the issue. currys PCworld are not much better ing helping, my TV is only two months old.

Same here just over 6 weeks old, still pushing for a return but now Samsung are actually doing something it's going to be difficult.

Samsung told me today they would have an Engineer out to me Saturday with the fix. The company they've task called me tonight saying they have to so called fix software but it fails to resolve the issue and they Don't work Saturdays 

 

Really getting ***** off with is whole set up.

I had my mu6470's panel replaced by www.thefxgroup.net under warranty. I was very happy with their service.
