For some reason I am not able to update my TV software. An alert comes up at the top of my screen. I set my remote to "TV" to click on the icon and nothing happens. If I scroll through the menu to get to software updates and press select on my remote.....nothing. Is it possible it's a remote programming issue? It's a newer remote and there were a few numeric choices to enter to make the remote and TV compatible. Should I try a different number to program?
